Ira Veles is a journalist for Bird In Flight photography magazine.

She specializes in marketing and management of art projects and cultural grassroots movements, and takes a deep interest in cinematography and the film industry.

Ira describes the type of photography she likes:

"What really impresses me about any kind of photography is that it gives you the chance to live the experiences you've never had and to see the places you've never been to. It is a very powerful medium and a strong storytelling instrument. That's why documentary photography makes such a contribution to the journalism - and we owe it so much. It speaks for itself. Talking about landscape photography, I appreciate works of Scottish photographer James Wright and especially what he's doing on Instagram - besides making breathtaking photos he also changes the way people consume landscape photography and affects their attitude to it. And this is what really makes the difference."
